National Day Against Food Waste: Join the Challenge!
News - 5 February 2025
Today, February 5th, marks the National Day of Food Waste Prevention, an opportunity to reflect on the importance of reducing waste and adopting more sustainable habits. Food waste is an economic, social, and environmental issue, but each of us can contribute with simple daily actions.
To raise awareness and engage as many people as possible, we have launched a food waste challenge! Participating is easy: choose one of the suggested missions and share your experience on social media using the hashtag #ZeroWaste.
Here are some ideas to get started:
The sharing bag: Open your pantry and collect non-perishable food items you won’t use, then donate them to a local organization.
Fridge-emptying operation: Make the most of the food you already have at home before going shopping.
The smart shopping list: Plan your grocery purchases to avoid unnecessary waste.
The anti-waste meal: Create a dish using leftover ingredients and share it online!
The more we are, the less we waste! Take on the challenge and be part of the change. Follow our social media for tips and updates on the challenge! #NoWaste #FoodWaste #Sustainability
